Our Mission...
...is to protect the public health, safety and welfare through the safe and competent practice of nurses and nursing assistants.
The State Board of Nursing assures that standards of practice are met and that persons engaged in the practice of nursing are competent. It approves individuals for licensure, registration and certification, approves educational programs for nurses and nursing assistants, investigates complaints concerning licensee's compliance with the law, and determines and administers disciplinary actions in the event of proven violations of the Nurse Practice Act.

Renew License or Certificate
The Arizona State Board of Nursing is proud to introduce My Services. RN's, LPN's and CNA's wanting to update information or renew a license can now do it online using the My Services system. Support for initial licensure/certification and other data services will be available later this year.
