RN/LPN DUE FOR RENEWAL

We are encouraging all nurses who are due to renew, to renew online. As you are aware, the States’ budget is very limited and the Board is attempting to do what is necessary to avoid raising the licensure renewal fee.

One way you can assist is to renew online. When you renew online, the license can also be issued in a more timely manner.

Paper applications are only being accepted for nurses who are:

  • On probation
  • Suspension
  • Inactive or Retired
  • Submitting volunteer/private duty hours for 960 hour requirement
  • Expired license
  • Nurses without social security number
  • Nurses who must answer yes to the disciplinary questions
  • Nurses who request a paper application

You must submit a written request for a paper application AND submit a self addressed stamped ($1.31) business size envelope to:

Please note that with a paper application it will take an average of 29 days from the time the application is received until the license is issued.
