Overview

Refresher programs consist of classroom and clinical training for RNs and LPNs who have not practiced for 5 or more years.  Other nurses may elect to take a refresher course when transitioning from a non-patient care role to direct patient care.

Approved Programs

The following is a list of all refresher programs and course descriptions currently approved by the Arizona State Board of Nursing. While the programs appearing on this list are under a four (4) year approval period, be advised that some programs may not be offering classes at this time. Please telephone the program to ascertain when classes are being held.

Statement of locations where all notices of the meetings of the Arizona State Board of Nursing will be posted.

Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.02(A)(1)(a), the Arizona State Board of Nursing will post all notices of the meetings of the Arizona State Board of Nursing Meetings and any of its committees and subcommittees on the Board's website at www.azbn.gov. Notices will indicate the date, time, and place of the meeting and will include an agenda or information concerning the manner in which the public may obtain an agenda for the meeting.
