Durice Wallace, formerly of Clarksville, TN, was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Durice is a mother of three and has been the wife of Henry Wallace since March 28, 2013, although they’ve been best friends since December 1986.

Durice studied Early Childhood Education at Post University while studying Urban Studies at Tennessee State University. She received both an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor Degree in Urban Studies within the same month. At present, she is receiving a Master of Public Administration degree from Tennessee State University.

Durice is also a self-published author, known as Peaceful Presence, of a book titled My Trauma, My Healing.

Durice comes to us from the State of Tennessee’s Higher Education Commission, where she served as the Grant Contract & Fiscal Manager. Her skillset in Grant Management and Contract Compliance will be an asset to our grant(s).

She’s a member of the Grant Professionals Association (GPA), The National Council for Community and Education Partnerships (NCCEP), and a Co-Facilitator for the Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Program (GEAR UP) Back Office Operators (BOO).

Kathy Malloch

Dr. Malloch has over 40 years of nursing expertise. She served as the President/Vice President/Member of the Board of Nursing from 1998-2012. Kathy is on the editorial board and is a manuscript reviewer for over five journals. She has written over 110 articles and published 12 nursing leadership and innovation books. In her spare time she enjoys traveling.

Dr. Kathy Scott is a seasoned healthcare executive and consultant with recognized expertise in transforming organizations to achieve high reliability structures and processes. She is also a noted speaker and author on contemporary leadership, clinical transformation and patient safety. Kathy has served in the capacity of CNO, COO, Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Integration Officer for several health systems as well as CMS Innovation Advisor and past Associate for ASU’s MHI program and currently Adjunct Faculty for the College of Health Solutions.

Dr. Scott is actively involved in multiple boards and in the regulation of nursing practice, to include past experience as Arizona State Board of Nursing President and board member, Nurse Practice Act Committee Member, President of the healthcare institute board for workforce development in the state of Arizona and Board member for Arizona organization of nurse leaders and Consultant to the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCIS) committee on practice breakdown research.

Tim Porter-O’Grady

Dr. Tim Porter-O’Grady has been a nurse for 49 years. He is currently senior partner-health systems for TPOG Associates LLC, an international health consulting practice in Atlanta, GA. Tim is an advanced practice nurse, board certified in geriatrics and wound specialties and holds two earned doctorates, one in learning behavior and another in complex systems leadership.

He has been Clinical Professor, Leadership Scholar at The Ohio State University, College of Nursing and Professor and Innovations Scholar at Arizona State University College of Nursing and Health Innovation, and is currently a Clinical Professor at Emory University, School of Nursing. He is nationally/internationally recognized as an expert/futurist in clinical health systems, nursing leadership, nursing professional governance, and health systems innovation.

Dr. Porter-O’Grady has consulted with over 300 clinical systems world-wide and has lectured at over 500 settings globally. He has authored/co-authored 26 books and over 225 journal publications and is a 10-time winner of the AJ N “Book of the Year Award”.

Tim is an elected fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and a clinical fellow in the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists. Tim is immediate past Chair of the Board of the American Nurses Foundation, and currently serves on the board of Catholic Community Services, a community health system for the underserved in Tucson and Atlanta. He has also served on the editorial boards of five proctored healthcare journals.

Tim has received numerous awards including the American Organization of Nurse Leaders Lifetime Achievement Award, American Nurses Association Luther Christman Health Leadership Award, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses Healthcare Pioneer Award, the American Academy of Nursing, President’s Award, and is a 2020 inductee into the ANA Nursing Hall of Fame and a 2022 inductee into the Georgia Nurses Hall of Fame.
