About Education
The Education Department provides regulatory information to nursing programs, students, and the public.
Responsibilities
- Review program applications/changes.
- Complete education program site visits.
- Conduct program investigations based on complaints.
- Monitor program trends. (NCLEX/On-Time Graduation)
- Maintain/update the AZBN Nurse Practice Act Test.
- Support evidence-based regulation and research.
- Promote collaboration among Arizona education programs.
- Facilitate bi-monthly Education Committee meetings.
- Attend quarterly Dean's and Director's meetings.
- Arrange monthly conference calls with nursing/nursing assistant programs.
- Organize annual Nursing Assistant Educator's Conference.
